Scrapploc’s journey began early, writing his first song at age eleven and developing a deep connection to music from a young age. What began as a passion evolved into a lifelong commitment to creative work and musical exploration.
With strong foundations in hip hop and influences that include Afro-Cuban rhythm, jazz improvisation, funk, and percussion, Scrapploc has developed a sound that balances tradition with continued artistic growth.

In 2005, Scrapploc founded his own publishing company to maintain creative control, protect ownership, and support long-term independence. This decision reflects a commitment to producing work with intention, integrity, and respect for the craft.
Mission
This work focuses on preserving culture, telling meaningful stories, and creating space where music, art, and community can coexist. The goal is not to follow trends, but to produce work that is thoughtful, enduring, and expressive.
